## **A flawless onboarding process**

With 30 staff members across two locations, Crystal didn’t expect implementing brightwheel to be as easy as it was.

Her Onboarding coach recommended starting out with the [Demo Rooms](https://help.mybrightwheel.com/en/articles/3296363-demo-students) on brightwheel so teachers could familiarize themselves with the app. This and the online trainings made all the teachers feel confident right from the beginning, even though some were less tech savvy than others. They collaborated with each other to learn the app, which made it that much more fun and exciting to dive into all brightwheel had to offer.

Crystal also loved how simple it was to export student and family information from her old childcare management system and into brightwheel. The [Roster Upload tool](https://help.mybrightwheel.com/en/articles/4074368-roster-upload-tool-overview) took only a few clicks, and, just like that, their school information was all imported into brightwheel.

## **Easy lesson creation and progress sharing with parents**

Crystal’s program prides itself in its use of Creative Curriculum to guide children in becoming independent, self-confident, and inquisitive learners. Before brightwheel, the lesson plan creation process for teachers and sharing information with families took multiple steps. They’d first need to write their lesson plans, submit them to the directors, make changes, and then post them to parent boards.

Now, Crystal’s team simply adds lesson plans to brightwheel and they are immediately centralized in one place for both staff and families. Even better, lesson plans can easily be shared amongst classrooms and updated for reuse the following year.
